The famous Ship Race to the Ship Inn in Sandgate will be taking place on Sunday 12 August this year.
The race will start at 12.00 with the skipper’s briefing at 11.30. As usual, a barbecue for all competitors will be provided free of charge by the landlord, Stewart Whiffin.
Entry fee is £5 per competitor being donated to a charity of Stewart’s choice.
