Tuesday night is course racing
night. We race anything, the most popular boards include such models as
Mistral One-Design, Equipe II, New Olympic RSX etc. and limit the sail size
to 9.5. The first start is 6pm and we try to fit in 4 races which tend to
include 2 beats, 2 reaches and a run, and categorise the results depending
on equipment used and age. Sunday
mornings at 11am is course racing as well. It is the same as Tuesdays but
when we can we make the courses bigger.
Sunday afternoons is slalom racing.
Anything can be used with a sail size limit of 10. The first start
is 2pm if there is enough wind. We will try to fit in 7 races
which include 2 reaches and categorise the results depending on
equipment used and age.
At the end of the year trophies
will be awarded to categories and age groups. Come along one day
and see us. New windsurfers are actively encouraged to join,
taking advantage of our annual beginners courses in the safety of
Dover Harbour and run by a team of qualified instructors trained
by the Club.
