Part of our mountain at the back of the dinghy park

HSSC is unique among the south-east's sailing clubs, in that it boasts its very own mountain - just off the beach! Ideal for snowboarding or skiing, its tree-lined, snow-covered slopes are open all year round to club members and their lucky guests.

After a hard morning's windsurfing or sailing, just grab your snowboard and wander round to the dinghy park at the back of the club, to catch one of our high-speed quads to the summit. Once there, take a quick gasp of the chill air before ripping down one of the freshly-groomed runs, or taking one of the testing off-piste routes back to the clubhouse. Join Mat and Jane as they show you what's on offer on a typical August day.

And, with regular snowboard social evenings at the club, a growing number of members who also snowboard, and a ski-slope at Folkestone offering expert tuition, there's plenty for snowboarders to do before the season starts as well.
