AquaSports do it again!

The AquaSports Aquanauts Racing Team15 saw off strong opposition from the Bewl Racing Team15, newly sponsored by Windsurf magazine, on Sunday 19 May in the second of the South East Zone’s Team 15 Inter-club events. This, their second Racing Team 15 victory this season, was cause for celebration with their new Gold Sponsors, Tushingham, who were on hand to lend technical advice and product prizes to the 30 windsurfers who took part.

Hythe Are Hot

The Hythe Hotshots put in a sizzling performance with Ollie Brooks taking the 5.5 class and trophy for best overall performance having remained unbeaten now in all 10 races this year, while teammate Elliot Carney scorched the 4.5 class, closely pursued by AquaSports’ Anthony Gillan. Together with teammate Lucy Stewart, Hythe took third team place over Hove Lagoon (Gold sponsor, Neilson) and Ardingly.

Battle of the Brothers

Outstanding performances from AquaSports’ Anthony and Redmond Scales gave them a series of firsts and seconds in the 3.5 class while Bewl’s Alex and Sebastian Graham did the same in the 6.5’s although this time with Seb coming out on top.

Future Fun

Next events are at Ardingly Activity Centre on Saturday 15^th June followed by Hythe and Saltwood SC on Saturday 13^th July.

X Marks the Spot

A special Team15 X event is planned at Hove Lagoon on Saturday 29^th June where windsurfers will have a chance to take part in the UKWA festival event and race alongside the stars, as well as winning some fantastic prizes.
