Below is the extensive action plan, proposed by Commodore, Mark Brooks, which will be used to enable HSSC to achieve RYA Volvo Champoin CLub status.

Hssc has an elected committee consisting of 10 flag officers: Commodore (Youth Development Officer), Vice Commodore, Rear commodore Sailing, Rear Commodore Windsurfing, Honorary Secretary, Treasurer, Membership Secretary, Training Officer, Publicity Officer and Social Secretary. There is an elected House Committee, Honorary auditor and a number of Trustees supporting this organisation..

The Committee is committed to increasing the number of RYA qualified instructors and race coaches, in order to further develop its potential for training beginners and race training

HSSC has a very experienced windsurfing membership, including 4 x- British team members (competing in National, European and World Championships in 1980's) and 4 x- national champions+ winner of 1999 speed trial at Weymouth. There are a number of enthusiastic members who wish to help promote youth training. A programme of RYA instructor and club coach training is essential to realise this potential.

There is currently a Club Principle, Senior windsurfing instructor and two sailing instructors

The House Committee has carried out an extensive programme of annual maintenance to the clubhouse, facilities and assets over the past 4 years, ensuring a high standard throughout
