Carol writes: "I
thought you might like these pictures of the Scorpion Nationals in 1975
(I think it was '75 because I think the slogan was "Come to Hythe in
'75").
Obviously the pictures are a bit rescue boat centered, but my dad, Chris
Hobden, and I
were the crew of the club's new hand built "atlantic" 16.
The radio operators in the boats
were lent to the club by the junior leader battalion from Shorncliffe;
they were all very sick."
