Inspiral Yoga comes to HSSC

Inspiral Yoga comes to HSSC

Inspiral Yoga was born from the desire to turn people’s stressful ordinary daily routines into extraordinary moments of blissful magic. Set up to inspire positive change, new beginnings and a healthy balanced lifestyle, it focuses on teaching the importance of the relationship between body, breath and mind through a creative, fun and accessible style.

Translated from Sanskrit, Vinyasa means “to place in a special way” and describes sequences of movement and breath linked through a conscious approach. Therefore, sessions are planned in such manner that they nourish the body, cultivate the breath and soothe the mind. This method offers a safe space for its students to explore their inner selves and to recognise that individual limitations are turned into tools which provide support in developing qualities such as patience, motivation, awareness and focus alongside the more obvious strength, flexibility and toning up.

Also, meditation and relaxation play an essential part towards a fulfilling practice as they enable students to disengage from the business of everyday life and to assimilate the benefits of the physical work as well as achieving a calm and peaceful state of being.

By combining all of the above elements and ensuring the development of a committed practice, students are soon able to notice the improvements not just on the mat but also in their day-to-day lives.

Alexandra Roshu* is a 200h Hatha &Vinyasa Flow teacher who has trained with Jungleyoga Training School in Thailand, in a stunning location immersed in nature. Her teacher training course was based on traditional Yogic systems synthesized for modern life and it was taught in a dynamic manner, with openness and humour to encourage each person to blossom in their own way, values and knowledge that she is now passing on to her own students.

Group classes are currently taking place in this beautiful spacious venue with mesmerising views over the English Channel and Hythe hills on Mondays and Wednesdays 7-8.30pm and Saturdays 8-9.30am. To secure a spot, booking in advance is recommended and cancelation is 24h prior to class.
